We had a blast! Went to Movie World, Dream World and Sea World a few times. We did plan on going whale watching, but the weather was bad and it was cancelled

Sea World was a hoot! It doesn't have many animals (apart from a heck of a lot of bottlenosed dolphins), but it was good anyway. I adored the 'tanks' they were in, if you could even call them that. They were so natural, and the show pool (Dolphin Cove) is stunning.
On the first trip, we watched all the shows and whatnot, then on the second trip we spent more time just hanging around with the dolphins in the nursery. We took a little mirror and they loved it XD Managed to get some nice photos from that interaction.

The dolphin show 'Imagine' is INCREDIBLE. I loved it so much. Unfortunately I didn't get many decent photos of the show at all, but *Okura did get a video of the whole show, which he has kindly uploaded to YouTube if you care to take a look:

At the end of the first show of the morning, they allow you to go backstage and take a look at all the back tanks and everything back there, and answer questions about the dolphins. It was fantastic. And so beautiful! ALL the tanks they have are quite large (and they have HEAPS of them, which is good because they have a lot of dolphins. About 43 I think, including Amity the Humpback dolphin)

We ate lunch at this restaurant which is on the second floor of a building right next to the dolphin nursery, and all around it is a balcony where you can sit at the tables and eat lunch, while watching all the dolphins in the pools beside you. It was so great. I could eat there EVERY day XD

So yes, I did love my Sea World. It's a photographers dream, really. So long as you have the right equipment Hahaha. A good zoom is essential

On another note; I also arranged a 'surprise' for Okura, which turned out fantastic!
Okura: What's the surprise?
Me: You're going skydiving
Okura: I hope you're kidding.

No, I was not kidding, and yes, he loved it in the end, after all the abuse I got beforehand for making him go skydiving NOW WHO'S THE THRILL SEEKER, HUH OKURA?

Unfortunately, though, I came down with a cold on the first few days. BAH. That was annoying. I felt terrible. And I was also suffering with some weird skin thing also. I had no idea what was going on, but my skin was definitely having a reaction from something. It's starting to clear up now though. Okura and I also both had a camera die on us; His camcorder and a little camera I borrowed from a friend. Frustrating.

On the day we went home, I was stuck at one airport or another ALL DAY. First of all, we caught the bus to the airport. Which was my idea, but I admit it was a terrible one. It was running late, and was also very crowded. Then we got to the airport just in time for Okura to get his flight, but because my flight was so much later, I couldn't even check in my luggage. So I had to wait around with my luggage for 2 hours doing nothing. So when the 2 hours was up, I checked my luggage in and could finally go into the lounge thing and get food and whatnot. I sat around for another 2 hours, waiting for my flight. Before I hop on my flight, my mother calls and tells me her car broke down and she would be a little late picking me up because it had to be fixed. I get on my flight which is an hour long. When I land, I text Mum to see how far away she is, and the car isn't even fixed yet, and she's more then an hours drive away. Ack. So I have to wait around at this airport for another 2 hours, until I was picked up and spent an hour in the car going home.
So basically, we left the hotel at 10am, and I didn't get home until 8:30pm. Fun times.

But apart from all that, I did actually have a REALLY good time, and I'm still pumped from it. Finally keen to draw again, I think.

So I will continue working on my really overdue gifts first.

Sorry it's taken forever. HOPEFULLY they will now not be too far away. Although, Okura DID buy me the Sims3, so I may get caught up in that for a little while XD I'll try my best not to, though, and your pictures are my priority, I promise!
