I hate to see you down, buddy. I know it may seem like 'when it rains, it pours'...But ya know what? There's still a rainbow waiting at the end. I know sometimes it can be hard to see (or easy to ignore), but its still there.
And Wow...I honestly don't know what colour this turned out. On my computer it looks decent, but then on this computer it looks horrid. So I printed it out to try and get a better look at it, and that hardly showed up any colour at all...So that didn't really work >.>;
i adore the subtle rainbow, with the beautiful little ball of light and sunrays...and i love the under-above water scene, and how you did the waves. I also love how the above-orca is a slightly different colour to the underwater bit, its so realistic. And i'm in love with the bubbles/splash on the underwater orca's skin. Gah, I just cant get over beautiful it is @_@

Wow!!! This is freaking awesome!!! I don't know what you mean about the colour, it is very emotive... what colour was it supposed to be? One of my favourite orca works that I've ever seen on dA!
Thanks a lot!! As for the colour...It's supposed to be sepia-ish/greyish with a slight greenish hue to it, and the whale is supposed to be blackish with a slight reddish hue. But on this computer it just seems like all the colours are blown out. The water is VERY green and the whale is VERY red. *shrugs*

You're welcome! I think the overall colour is wonderful... I can see what you mean about the red colour, but I like it. I honestly thought at first that you'd done it on purpose because it looks so deep and emotive! Your technique for water is brilliant! Keep up the awesome work!
this is absolutely beautiful. You are so talented. I like the colors.

The colours haven't come out as you described in an above comment, but either way they work very well! I love the way you've shown movement on the surface of the water And the rainbow is a nice touch.
